Robert A. Peal

Robert A. Peal enjoys a diverse practice focused on complex litigation, handling both criminal defense and civil trials.  His practice includes white-collar criminal defense, aviation-related litigation, entertainment litigation, environmental law, and cases requiring a strong grasp of mathematics or engineering.

Prior to joining Neal & Harwell, Mr. Peal served in the U.S. Marine Corps, first flying the F/A-18D as a flight officer, followed by service as a Judge Advocate senior prosecutor and law center director.   While on active duty, Mr. Peal deployed three times and saw combat in Operations Southern Watch, Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan), and Iraqi Freedom.

Mr. Peal attended the U.S. Naval Academy, graduating with merit with a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering while boxing on the USNA team. He received his J.D. from Vanderbilt University School of Law.  He is currently a Lieutenant Colonel in the Marine Corps Reserves.
